St. John’s Development Progress Update: March 2019

2018 was a landmark year for St. John's and Enterprise City. Allied London completed the largest office deal in over a decade to Booking.com, who will create a £175m Tech Hub at Manchester Goods Yard, as well as announcing a long-term funding partnership to create the ECUK cluster. External repair works commence at London Road Fire Station

Allied London has announced preparations for the commencement of an initial phase of work to sympathetically repair and restore the iconic London Road Fire Station building fabric back to a state of good repair.Scaffolding is being erected across London Road and Fairfield Street in Manchester. Online travel giant, Booking.com, is set to open a new global headquarters at Manchester Goods Yard for its ground transportation company, Rentalcars.com. Revised plans for St. John’s Factory arts venue approved

Factory, the new permanent home for the Manchester International Festival (MIF) has received approval from Manchester City Council for revised plans put forward by OMA. The £111.6M flexible arts space is being backed by Allied London in partnership with the City Council and will be built at St. John’s, Manchester’s newest city centre neighbourhood.
