Allied London’s, XYZ Building partnered with future pro-manchester’s annual summer social, held at the beautiful King Street Townhouse in Manchester City Centre on the evening of the 12th July.
Future pro-manchester is part of pro-manchester and is dedicated to promoting and developing young talent within Greater Manchester’s financial and professional sector.
It was a well-attended event on a glorious sunny evening at one of the newest hotels to open in the city.
Around 100 people from sectors including finance, law and property came together to network and socialise and enjoy live acoustic music from the very talented Kick Back Sunday’s followed by a DJ set from Global Radio’s (future occupier of XYZ) Wingman.
A member of the XYZ team welcomed attendees and gave a short talk about the XYZ building, the vision and The Vault – a new FinTech incubator, which will be housed within the building, and is aimed at bringing together the Fintech community and nurturing Fintech businesses.
Interest for the XYZ concept continues to grow, as does interest in Allied London’s future plans for workspace development in Manchester and nationally.
Spinningfields Estate Director Chris Reay commented: “Spinningfields has disrupted Manchester’s traditional commercial core and has become a place where leading corporate institutions organically cluster, from the main banks to newer organisations such as Worldpay. Where XYZ differs is that we’re delivering a culture, a brand more than a building, a structure with its own personality. We believe this is the ideal platform for FinTech. We’re opening doors for tech entrepreneurs to collaborate and tap into support from the existing corporate environment and learn first-hand, from leaders in their field.”
