Allied London’s new bespoke office creation, 28 Savile Row officially launched last week with an immersive Mad Men inspired ‘office takeover’ event, hosted by Allied London’s Chief Executive, Michael Ingall, and delivered by experiential events company Shuttlecock Inc.
The event, ‘Pitches, Pearls and Pandemonium’ was attended by agents and media, including guests of event partners, Strutt & Parker LLP, Bruce Gillingham Pollard, Bridging London and Carousel.
An evening of boardroom bedlam, fur coats and enthusiastic whisky consumption kept London’s great and good amused and enthused as Carousel served up 60s inspired canapés and cocktails.
Michael Ingall CEO of Allied London commented “ 28 Savile Row is a benchmark for a boutique Mayfair office building. Its interior design is finished to the highest standard; a combination of craft and luxury, making this a rare product for Mayfair but appropriate for a Savile Row address. The working environment is exemplary for London’s West End. Now is the time for this building and for those serious about the position of their business.”
Allied London’s approach and ethos is to create dynamic mixed-use places where people can work, shop create and play.
28 Savile Row’s 10,225 square foot of office space (over six upper floors) is impressively light and airy with three elevations providing natural light, some of which are floor-to-ceiling glazing and offer views over Mayfair. Throughout the building there are contrasting, opulent interior textiles, fixtures and fittings – from rich regency gold, anodised lift shafts to timber flooring and works of art. The ambient central courtyard is another unique element within this quintessential office experience.
The reception is refined with an outstanding Portoro Italian marble concierge desk by renowned sculptor Paul Vanstone and an artistic ‘infinity’ lightbox in the ceiling. The stylish regency gold anodised lifts offer views of the tranquil central courtyard, showcasing wild plant walls and elegant landscaping.
By remodelling the building, Allied London has allowed space to secure a prime restaurant facing onto Old Burlington Street, which will house the much-anticipated London outpost of StreetXO, a concept owned and operated by three-star Michelin chef David Munoz.
The development is perfectly positioned in the heart of Mayfair, with only a six minute walk to Oxford Circus and under 10 minutes to Piccadilly and Green Park stations.
