Following on from a series of public events, including the current ice rink and street food pop-up, Winter Gathering, Allied London is to hold London Road’s second public consultation on 15th December.
The first consultation in May harnessed a great amount of positive public feedback, and the second consultation will showcase the next phase of proposals, bringing back to life one of Manchester’s most important buildings.
Incorporating the site’s rich heritage and architecture, the proposals will showcase the Fire Station’s potential as a leisure destination and visitor attraction with a wide range of uses including the anchor hotel by The Zetter Group, a spa, workspace, residential apartments, hospitality and retail units.
This consultation will allow local residents and other interested parties the chance to see the proposals and converse with London Road’s design team, who will be on hand to answer questions.
Feedback will be welcomed on the day and the public can also email suggestions and comments on the plans to londonroad@alliedlondon.com until the 19th December, 2016.
For those unable to attend the consultation, plans are available to view on the createlondonroad.com site.
The consultation will take place on 15th December 2016 from 2pm-7pm at London Road Fire Station, The Gas Meter Room.
