Allied London's joint venture working with other shareholders and Bracknell Town Council created a 3.5 m sq ft mixed use masterplan for the redevelopment of the town centre resulting in the revitalisation of the retail/commercial/social environment with 140,000 sq ft of offices, introducing some 30 new retailers, the opening of a new 4 star hotel and conference centre. Having generated significant value, Allied London disposed of the majority of its interests to The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership - a joint venture between Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust and Legal & General in 2003.
