Allied London began work on Aldersgate in 2006. Comprising a total gross area of 62,998 sq m (678,000 sq ft), the office building is being redeveloped and refurbished on behalf of RREEF. Allied London was appointed once the building had been acquired and immediately set about understanding what needed to be done to make the building appeal to occupiers. This review led to major design and specification changes and has resulted in a much improved end product, with leasing flexibility and institutionally accepted specification.
Allied London managed the delivery team, including the appointment of the contractor, the set-up of the building contract and successful management of the practical completion in 2008.
